#KLPC-B01: Little Pandas Chinese class - Beginners Level 1
#KLMC-L02: Little Monkeys Chinese class - Level 2

#KLP-L04: Little Phoenix Chinese class-Level 4
 
These four courses are multi-media and multi-sensory programs that offers each child a variety of experiences with language and literature in order to build skills and develop a love of the Chinese language and expressions.  Roll playing activities will be used to facilitate this.  Children begin by learning Chinese Phonetics (Pinyin), numbers, colors, shapes, vehicles, weather, flowers, family, elements of the face, bedroom, etc.  Students will also learn basic conversations geared for kids.  Additionally, an environment rich in books, stories, songs, and manipulation introduces and develops recognition, comprehension, and sequence skills.  Examples of skill-building activities include the following:
 
· Conversing in a group setting
· Learning to recognize basic characters and sounds
· Listening to Chinese stories for kids
· Listening and singing Nursery rhymes, and Chinese songs for children
· Participating in story roll playing
· Expressing oneself through story dictation
· Gaining comprehension skills in retelling, comparing and contrasting, and sequencing
 
#KCB-01: Children Beginner/Chinese all-around
A creative way to learn Chinese with multi-media and multi-sensory programs.  It includes Chinese Pinyin (phonetic alphabetic), numbers, colors, shapes, vehicles, weather, flowers, family, elements of the face, bedroom, etc.  Students will learn the basics of daily communication at home and at school at the elementary level.  Children will also learn Chinese songs, games, writing calligraphy and characters in this course.  This course will only speak Chinese in class.  Additionally, an environment rich in books, stories, songs, and manipulation introduces and develops recognition, comprehension, and sequencing skills.  Examples of skill-building activities include the following:
 
· Conversing in a group setting
· Learning to recognize basic characters and sounds
· Listening to Chinese stories for kids
· Listen and singing Nursery rhymes, and Chinese songs for children

#KCI-02: Children Intermediate Chinese all-around
A creative way to learn Chinese with multi-media and multi-sensory programs.  It includes basic sentences used in child’s daily life at home and at school.  Children will also learn Chinese songs, games, writing calligraphy and characters in this course.  This course will only speak Chinese in class.  Additionally, an environment rich in books, stories, songs, and manipulation introduces and develops recognition, comprehension, and sequencing skills.  Examples of skill-building activities include the following:
 
· Conversing in a group setting
· Learning to recognize basic characters and sounds
· Listening to Chinese stories for kids
· Listening and singing Nursery rhymes, and Chinese songs for children

· Expressing oneself through story dictation

#KPSIC-08: POP Summer Intensive Chinese Class
Our POP summer intensive Chinese class focuses on listening and familiarizing students with the sounds, common phrases, basic vocabulary, and Chinese culture, keeping the focus on communication.  Total Physical Response, or TPR, is the main method used to teach Chinese, using visual, auditory, and kinesthetic (VAK) activities aimed towards our students’ different learning styles.  Students will learn numbers, colors, animals, shapes, clothes, dates and time etc.  In addition, students also learn greetings, courtesy expressions and basic phrases. We create a class atmosphere that is lively and fun, as we incorporate songs, role playing, and a myriad of games.  Cultural activities are also introduced so as to promote curiosity, awareness, and respect.
 
#KBCC-01: Basic Chinese Characters
This course is specially designed for children who are learning their first Chinese words and basic phrases.  Many colorful pictures, flash cards, and DVDs will be used in the class. Children will learn daily words from a range of familiar situations, gaining Chinese language skills along the way.  To help them memorize sounds, they will also learn Chinese songs with words have learned.  Students will also learn how to write Chinese characters in the class.
 
#KBC-07: Basic Chinese culture
In this course, children will learn how to make a Chinese lucky knot, origami, Chinese masks and lanterns, red envelopes, write simple characters, and Sing Chinese songs.
